Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on Southern Europe: of the first mention of Panzer Group West, on March 3; on the Russian Front: of orders for the increased use of railway routes into Romania, and that the Romanian state railways are to be asked to take over more trains, on March 7; and that the Chief Quartermaster (QM) of Army Group A suggests as a priority the evacuation of Nikolaev, on March 9; and the Naval Headlines, with the Prime Minister's (PM's) query on what the lead box contained belonging to LCT 3 which is now in German hands in Kos, with responses from the Director of Naval Intelligence (DNI) and the First Sea Lord (1SL).
