A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on Southern Europe: of San Stefano again being bombed, on March 9; on South-east Europe: that the Germans are to attempt to transfer 3 R-boats from the Adriatic to the Aegean, on March 6 and 9; on the Russian Front: that Russian loud-speaker propaganda announces the Soviets' intention to be in Riga in 25 days and in Berlin in 50 days, from March 9; a German appreciation of March 1 of Russian concentrations and preparations for an attack opposite the 6th Army; of indications that the Russians are preparing an attack on Crimea, and that Hitler fears an attack in the Feodisya area, on March 7; and that German Air Force (GAF) reconnaissance indicates a considerable advance by the Russians, as of March 8.
