This file includes the following reports on Southern Europe: battle reports from the beach-head, on March 8; on the Russian Front: the 4th Panzer Army's detailed report for March 7; Naval Headlines; from the Turkish ambassador in Vichy, describing a conversation with Laval, on March 2; from the Portuguese minister in Ankara, detailing an interview with von Papen, on March 6; and from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Berlin, on Finnish-Soviet negotiations, on March 4.
