Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on Southern Europe: that the front line of the 362nd Infantry Division has extended its sector to include that of the 26th Panzer Division, on March 6; and that the 26th Panzer Division takes over the sector of the Hermann Goering Division, from March 6; on South-east Europe: that the Commander in Chief (C-in-C) for the South-east orders, for the purpose of the thinning out of Belgrade, for a partial transfer of a naval base, then that the complete evacuation of the naval base is imminent, on February 25 and 26 and March 3; and a short air situation report for Germany for March 5.
