A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on Southern Europe: of Kesselring's plans and dispositions for a recent attack on the Allies in the bridgehead, on February 28; and bridgehead battle reports for March 4; on South-east Europe: of Allied bombing attacks on Split, in Yugoslavia, for March 2 to 4; and on the Russian Front: a further German appreciation of Russian intentions in the south, as of February 27.
