This file includes the following reports on Southern Europe: five bridgehead battle reports for March 3; and on the Allied bombing of Rome, on March 3; a naval situation report in all theatres for March 3; and an appreciation of the Atlantic situation from a U-boat point of view, on March 2; and from the Japanese military attaché in Sofia, on the bombing of Sofia, from January 25.
