A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following report on Southern Europe: a long appreciation by the Germans of the Allied forces in the Anzio bridgehead, and the Allied casualties, difficulties, supply position and prospects, on February 22; a reply from the Chief of the Imperial General Staff (CIGS) to the Prime Minister's (PM's) query in the above report is not included.
