This file includes the following reports on South-east Europe: a day report from German Air Force (GAF) Command for the South-east, on March 1; and of guerrillas in the southern Peloponnese immobilising German troops and seriously interfering with the delivery of supplies to them, on February 21; on Southern Europe: of the beachhead front line in the Cisterna area, as of March 1; and three bridgehead battle reports for March 2; Naval Headlines, including the Far East; the French military mission in Moscow reports on the formation of the 3rd Czech brigade, on February 28; an agent's report on activity in Italy, for February 29; an agent's report on Allied raids on German cities, for March 1; a German secret service report from Madrid to Berlin states that the British ambassador in Madrid says the purpose of the Allied pressure on Spain is to attract German attention to the Spanish frontier and induce the move of several Divisions from the north to the south of France, on February 20; and of a radio telephone conversation between Madrid and Berlin concerning rumours from Algiers on an Allied invasion, on March 1.
