This file includes the following reports on Southern Europe: of the 114th Division withdrawing its left wing in the face of Allied pressure, on March 1; of the 362nd Division withdrawing its main defence line to the starting line of February 28, on March 1; that Officers Commanding (OCs) local operations do not surrender, but fight to the last, the only conception known in the history of German soldiering, with there to be no reprieve from Hitler, on February 6; the Air Fleet Reich reports on U.S. bombing raids over Brunswick on February 29; on South-east Europe: of a proposal on February 17 to destroy all island harbours in the Sibernik area, and to prohibit all night movements of private shipping; and of a ship of 6000 to 7000 tons being hit by Allied bombs in Kotor harbour, on February 29; on the Russian Front: a ground situation report from Army Group A, for February 29; and a report on fallen German prestige in Finland, on March 1; and from the Siamese minister in Berlin, on Germany and the Allies, on February 23.
