Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on Southern Europe: eight bridgehead battle reports in Italy, for February 29; of the 29th Panzer Grenadier Division being withdrawn from the line, with its sector being taken over by the 3rd Panzer Grenadier Division, on February 29; and that the 2nd Air Fleet's intentions for the night of February 29 are to concentrate a bombing attack against Allied shipping off Anzio; Naval Headlines, including the Far East; from the Bulgarian minister in Lisbon, on Hungary and the war, on February 26; from the Chinese Embassy in London, detailing air raids on London, on February 25; and from the Greek ambassador in Washington, regarding Churchill's speech, on February 27.
