A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on Southern Europe: that attacks by the 362nd Division on February 29 failed at two points; that all elements of the 114th Jaeger Division suffered heavy casualties in an attack on February 29; of a slight advance by the 26th Panzer Division, on February 29, with high German casualties; on one of two steamships transferring from the Adriatic to the Aegean, sinking, on February 29; and that the 11th Air Corps is responsible for operations against guerrillas in the provinces of Perugia, Terni and Rieti, on February 28.
