Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on Southern Europe: of indications that the 90th Panzer Grenadier Division is moving to rearward areas on February 28; on the location of the sector of the 26th Panzer Division, as of February 28; that an unidentified operation by the 362nd Division has been postponed until February 29; of ground attack aircraft taking part in operation VARIETY, on February 27; on the position of the Hermann Goering Division, as of February 27; of the first indication as to the location of the 92nd Division, north of Rome, on February 17; and of cargo lighters being sent to remove 6000 tons of manganese ore from San Stefano, on February 27.
