This file includes the following reports on South Europe: of the 65th Infantry Division clearing up the Buon Riposo pocket, on February 24; the 51st Mountain Division's situation report, for February 24 (and a correction); of the 114th Jaeger Division's subordinates, on February 23; of the 715th Infantry Division being withdrawn to take over the left wing from February 25; that the German Air Force (GAF) representative with the 3rd Panzer Grenadier Division is moving to a new position early on February 25; the 29th Panzer Grenadier Division reports 15 Allied transports are unloading at Anzio, on February 24; and that operation NOZZLE against the Anzio bridgehead was unsuccessful, on February 23; on South-east Europe: of an Allied bombing attack on Zara, in Dalmatia, on February 22; that the sea defence commandants for the Dodecanese and Peloponnese are to continue their examination of their areas' defence preparedness, on February 22; and that Goering sends special commissioners to GAF Command for the Southeast to comb out air force personnel, on February 23; and on North-west Europe: that GAF operational sorties are to include only one officer in each crew, due to heavy losses among new officers, from February 24.
