Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on South Europe: that the 26th Panzer Division hands over its sector to the 3rd Panzer Grenadier Division, and on the new location of its battle HQ, on February 22; and that the 90th Panzer Grenadier Division is to be relieved by the 1st Parachute Division, not before February 24; on South-east Europe: that the SS Division Prince Eugen is to move to the Sarajevo area so as to be available in the event of an Allied landing, on February 9; a German Air Force (GAF) report on an Allied raid on Agram, on February 22; and on GAF information gained from deserters on Allied intentions to land on the Yugoslav coast, on February 22; on Germany: of there being no allocation of air gunners and mechanics to a bomber unit in February; and a GAF air situation report for February 21, detailing raids on German cities.
