This file includes the following reports on South-east Europe: that the 2nd Panzer Army orders the conscription of all males fit to bear arms from the islands on the Adriatic coast, on February 21; Naval Headlines; and from the Japanese ambassador in Vichy, that Laval favours a Soviet-German peace, on February 16.
