A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on Southern Europe: of detailed plans, under the codenames FRECHDACHS and WIGAN, for the German transfer of ships from the Adriatic to the Aegean, vital for the supply situation in the Aegean and Crete, on February 15; on the Russian Front: detailed reports of combat activity in Crimea and southern Russia, for February 13-14; a minute from the Prime Minister (PM) to C concerning the recent lack of diplomatic (BJ) reports; and the reply from C.
