A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on Southern Europe: battle reports from 4 German units at the Nettuno/Anzio bridgehead, for February 11, noting that an Allied attack against 715th Infantry Division positions in Aprilia and Carroceto was repulsed; and on the North Atlantic: that a German U-boat was hit by Allied aircraft during the night of February 10/11, and is to be scuttled after the crew have been taken off.
