Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on South-east Europe: of German anxiety over the Aegean coastal defences, on February 5; of the demolition of harbours by the German Navy in Yugoslavia, from February 1-5; and that the German Navy in Dalmatia makes defensive preparations, on February 5; Naval Headlines; and from the German ambassador in Madrid, that Spain is to stand firm against Allied pressure, on February 2.
