This file includes the following reports on South Europe: a 334th Infantry Division report from the Anzio bridgehead area, on February 6; the 715th Division's final day report, for February 6; that the 3rd Panzer Grenadier Division advanced the main defence line, on February 6; 71st Infantry Division reports, for February 6; of the 76th Panzer Corps' requests for air reconnaissance, on February 6; that Kesselring is to set up a school to re-train Italian officers in German-Italian units, on January 30; and that the German Navy stresses the need for the dispersal of ships in Italian harbours, on January 29; on West Europe: that the German Air Force (GAF) are to institute training against the anticipated Allied use of war gases, on February 6; and on South-east Europe: that the German Admiralty do not consider that the demolition of harbours in the Istrian area is presently justified, as of February 1.
