Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on South Europe: of the 3rd Panzer Grenadier Division's successful pincer attack, on February 4; a Hermann Goering Division report, for February 4; and of the 1st Parachute Corps' and 76th Corps' boundary lines, as of February 4; and on the Northern Russian Front: that Soviet forces had been established on the banks of the Narva on February 4.
