A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on South Europe: that the Hermann Goering Division is to undertake reconnaissance and an assault, on February 3; on the 1st Parachute Corps' probable divisional boundaries, as of February 3; a 3rd Panzer Grenadier Division report, for February 3; of the 1st Parachute Corps expecting a new enemy assault, on February 3; on the 1st Parachute Corps' bombing line, on February 3; and of evidence for the move of the 333rd Infantry Division from the Russian Front to Italy, on January 22; on South-east Europe: on shipping losses and movements in the Adriatic, for February 2-3; of preparations for harbour demolition at Zara, Sibenik and Trieste, on February 2; and of the German Air Force (GAF) 10th Flying Corps' requests for aviation fuel and oil, on February 3; and on the Southern Russian Front: of the 4th Air Fleet's summary of reconnaissance results for February 3-4.
