This file includes the following reports on South Europe: of the front line in the 3rd Panzer Grenadier Division's area, on February 1; 71st Infantry Division reports, for February 1; a 1st Parachute Corps report, for February 1, stating that the main defence line was re-established; that the 94th Infantry Division is in defensive positions, on February 1; a 10th Army day report for February 1, noting that Allied attacks make progress against the 44th Infantry Division in the Cassino area; of the location of the battle HQ of the 90th Panzer Grenadier Division, on February 1; and that the Commander in Chief (C-in-C) for the Southwest requests orders for setting up the 92nd Infantry Division, on January 29; and from the Fighting French in Algiers, to the Free French in London, a French secret service report on conversations with Soviet diplomats in Turkey, from January 26.
