Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on South Europe: that the 26th Panzer Division is to attack, subordinate to the Hermann Goering Division, on February 1; probable 715th Division reports from the Anzio bridgehead, on February 1; and on the beginning of an order from Kesselring, issued after the Anzio landing, on January 24 (see 5559); on Germany: a Spanish report on a Berlin raid, on February 1; and T82/20 was sent to the Director of Naval Intelligence (DNI) (see 5569).
