Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on South Europe: a 10th Army intermediate report for February 1, detailing successful Allied attacks in the Cassino area; that an attack by the 26th Panzer Division was unsuccessful, on February 1; the German Air Force's (GAF's) final report for January 31; and of Kesselring's orders to the 10th and 14th Armies, Army Group von Zangen, the 2nd Air Fleet and the German Navy, on January 24; on South-east Europe: of an Allied raid on Klagenfurt, on January 31; and that the Sea Defence Commandant for the Dodecanese sees no need for the immediate demolition of harbours, on January 30-31.
