This file includes the following reports on South Europe: the 10th Army's morning report for February 1; that the 3rd Panzer Grenadier Division beat off attacks, north of Aprilia, on January 31; of the 1st Parachute Corps' front line, as of February 1, noting the widening of a bridgehead; on German divisions and commanders, from January 31; a report on the 14th Army, on January 28; that Kesselring justifies to Goering his defensive actions after the Anzio landing, on January 28; of the 51st Mountain Corps relieving the 76th Corps at Catignano, on February 1; of the Germans' priorities for mining the Adriatic, on January 31; and T81/46 (describing the German supply situation in Italy) was sent to the Director of Military Intelligence (DMI) for the Chief of the Imperial General Staff (CIGS) (see 5587).
