Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on South Europe: a 10th Army interim report for January 30, noting the 94th Infantry Division's outposts being driven back; and that the German Navy are not to set up alarm units against Allied large-scale landings due to a shortage of personnel, on January 19; and on South-east Europe: a German Air Force (GAF) report of Allied landings on islands in the Split area, on January 28.
