A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on South Europe: 10th Army reports for January 29, noting that Monte Furlito and Monte Fuga have been lost; and a 10th Army day report for January 28, that the 44th Infantry Division yielded ground with heavy casualties; on South-east Europe: a German Air Force (GAF) command situation report, for January 29, stating that the Greek Foreign Minister was shot in Athens; and a German comment on British wireless silence, on January 28; on the Southern Russian Front: the 4th Air Fleet's reconnaissance results for January 28 to early on January 29; and from the Japanese ambassador in Ankara, on Turco-Soviet relations, as of January 25.
