This file includes the following reports on South Europe: that the German 51st Mountain Corps, proceeding by road after detraining near Florence, has been held up by mist, on January 25; on the movements of the 65th Infantry Division, on January 24-25; a German 10th Army report, for January 26; the 2nd Air Fleet's final report, for January 25, describing the Anzio bridgehead; the 10th Army's day report for January 25, noting that the 44th Division is under heavy attack; and of German defences being constructed and planned, which are thought to be north and south of Rome, on January 12.
