Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on Southern Europe: of the 87th Army Corps preparing to move on January 23 from the area north of Genoa; of the 3rd Panzer Grenadier Division being south of Frascati on January 23; and that the transfer of 2 anti-aircraft batteries from Italy to the Russian Front was cancelled on January 23 because of the deteriorating situation in Italy; and on the Russian Front: of a German Army order of January 20 that not another foot of territory should be lost in Crimea, and that the situation in the Kerch area would be restored by a German counter-attack.
