This file includes the following reports on Southern Europe: a 10th Army report for January 20, stating that the 1st Parachute Corps is to move from the Rome area with the 90th Panzer Grenadier Division and organise a counter attack against the Allied thrust across the Lower Garigliano; that the Pisa-Florence railway line was cut by Allied bombing on January 12; and that a special German anti-shipping operation against Allied shipping in both Naples and Gaeta is planned for the night of January 22/23.
