Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: Mr Loxley's copy of a BONIFACE summary; on Southern Europe: that a planned German Operation in the Naples area failed on the night of January 17/18 but was to be repeated on the night of January 19/20; that Hvar Island was to be attacked on January 19; of the results of an Allied air raid on Piraeus on January 11 which indicated that 70 small craft were destroyed or sunk; and of Hitler's order to set up a parachute army of 5 divisions.
