Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: BONIFACE summaries for the Deputy Prime Minister (PM) and Mr Loxley; on Southern Europe: of the Germans suffering great losses in the Cassino area on January 15 as a result of increasing Allied pressure; that 20 German auxiliary vessels had been lost in the Aegean Sea in December and there had been no replacements; and the military authorities in Bulgaria had reported that the Turkish press was complaining that goods required by Turkey were being held up in Romania by German military transports.
