A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: a BONIFACE report for the Deputy Prime Minister (PM); a BONIFACE report for Mr Loxley; a BONIFACE report for Lieutenant General Ismay; a BONIFACE/SUNSET report from the Code and Cypher School (CSS) to Hut 3 signalled as SLICK 29 to the PM; on Southern Europe: that the Allies capture Lido, in the 29th Panzer Grenadier Division's sector, on January 10; of indications that the 162nd Division is later to be replaced by the 263rd Division, which is believed to have been in Russia in Autumn 1943, on January 10; and of an Allied bombing attack on Villa Orba on January 8; and on South-east Europe: of an Allied air raid on Sofia, on January 10.
