A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: a BONIFACE report for the Deputy Prime Minister (PM); a BONIFACE report for Mr Loxley; a BONIFACE report from the Code and Cypher School (CSS) to Hut 3 signalled as SLICK 19 to the PM; a signal of January 8 from Robinson to XA, that Alexander and Strong have left for Algiers; a signal of January 8 at 1928 from Robinson to XA; from Hut 3 to the CSS, four copies of a signal in four parts from the 15th Army Group of January 7 passed at 1800z, 1810z, 1820z and 1830z to be passed on as SLICK 18 in four parts on January 8 at 0045z, 0430z, 0550z and 0615z, strictly personal for Alexander and Strong from Airey, with the signal also being passed to the 8th Army for Prater and the 5th Army for Howard; on Southern Europe: that an Allied raid on Perugia destroys German aircraft, on January 7; and on South-east Europe: a review by the German Air Force (GAF) Command for the South-east of operations during December against guerrillas in Greece and Yugoslavia, on January 4.
