A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: a BONIFACE report for the Deputy Prime Minister (PM); a BONIFACE report for Mr Loxley; a BONIFACE report from the Code and Cypher School (CSS) to Hut 3 signalled as SLICK 13 to the PM; a signal passed as SLICK 14 to the PM; a signal of January 5 at 1918 for C and Ismay from Hollis concerning operations SHINGLE, OVERLORD, FROZEN 1109 and the possibility of a conference either in Algiers or Tunis; that the release of further soldiers for fighting units, and a modification of medical categories, was ordered on January 2; on South-east Europe: that Allied heavy bombers fail to attack Sofia owing to fog but attack Dupnica, on January 4; of the totals of German aircraft in the Balkans area for January 4; and of Allied raids on Travnik, in Yugoslavia, on January 4.
