A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: a BONIFACE report for the Deputy Prime Minister (PM); a BONIFACE report for Mr Loxley; a BONIFACE report for Lieutenant-General Sir Hastings Ismay; a BONIFACE report of December 31 at 1625z from the Code and Cypher School (CSS) for the PM via Wing Commander Jones; on Southern Europe: that the desertion of part of a civilian crew delays the sailing of a steamship from Trieste, on December 30; that motor-minesweepers under repair at Venice are destined for the Aegean; and that more motor-minesweepers are to be transported overland from the western Mediterranean to the Adriatic, on December 30; and Naval Headlines.
