This file includes the following reports: a BONIFACE report for the Deputy Prime Minister (PM); a BONIFACE report for Mr Loxley; a BONIFACE report for Lieutenant-General Sir Hastings Ismay; a BONIFACE report of December 31 at 1115 from the Code and Cypher School (CSS) for the PM via Wing Commander Jones; on Southern Europe: of the Allies landing in battalion strength on the Tyrrehenian coast, on December 30; that Army Group C ordered the 14th Army to develop the Foro position, on December 24; and the 51st Mountain Corps' day report for December 30 which includes damage inflicted by an Allied raid; on the Russian Front: the 4th Air Fleet's situation report for December 29, including Zhitomir being almost encircled; and on Germany: of economy being ordered in the use of emergency rations in view of the food situation, on December 28.
