Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: a BONIFACE report for the Deputy Prime Minister (PM) and Mr Loxley; on South-east Europe: that naval personnel on leave from outside Crimea are to be used to form naval artillery, and units, for the Dodecanese, on December 20; and of German difficulties in the south Peloponnese, on December 23; on Southern Europe: of indications that the 5th Mountain Division is to take over part of the sector of the 44th Division which will move into the sector of the 29th Panzer Grenadier Division, on December 24; and of Allied raids on Imperia and Ventimiglia on December 23 with details of the destruction.
