Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: BONIFACE reports for Brigadier Jacob; Mr Loxley; and the Deputy Prime Minister (PM); on South-east Europe: of a hunger demonstration in west Greece, on December 9; from C to the 15th Army Group for General Alexander, on December 10; a report from Special Communications Unit (SCU) Cairo for Spencer, the PM, via Gore-Browne, on December 10; on South Europe: that the German Air Force (GAF) seeks photo-reconnaissance of Bari in preparation for an attack, on December 9; and that the 14th Panzer Corps' situation is unchanged, as at December 9.
