Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: BONIFACE reports for Brigadier Jacob; Mr Loxley; and the Deputy Prime Minister (PM); on South-east Europe: that a German garrison at Molaoi, in the South Peloponnese, is under attack by partisans, on December 9; and of a German steamship being sunk off Lemnos, on December 9; from Special Communications Unit (SCU) Cairo for Gore-Browne: a BONIFACE report; on South Europe: on the supply situation of Army Group C, on December 8; that the Chief Quartermaster (QM) for the Commander in Chief (C-in-C) for the Southwest emphasises the difficulty in saving fuel, because of railway bombings, on December 7; and that an Allied raid destroys port installations at San Stefano, on December 8.
