Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: BONIFACE reports for Brigadier Jacob; Mr Loxley; and the Deputy Prime Minister (PM); on South Europe: on the German Navy in the Adriatic, on December 7; that Flak heavy artillery is to be used only in batteries against massed tanks, on December 5; that Italians are to be used as voluntary assistants to release German troops for combat duties, on December 7; the 90th Panzer Grenadier Division's report, for December 8; on the new battle HQ of the 65th Infantry Division, from December 8; a report by the 65th Infantry Division, on December 8; a 29th Panzer Grenadier Division report, for December 8; a 15th Panzer Grenadier Division report, for December 8; and a 94th Infantry Division report, for December 7; on South-east Europe: that the 5th SS Mountain Corps states an operation, probably against Solta island, is not to begin for 8-10 days, from December 7-8; and a report from Special Communications Unit (SCU) Cairo for Spencer, the PM, via Gore-Browne.
