Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: BONIFACE reports for Brigadier Jacob; Mr Loxley; and the Deputy Prime Minister (PM); on the Southern Russian Front: of the 4th Air Fleet's air reconnaissance results, on December 5 and 6; the Admiral for the Black Sea's preliminary report of December 7; the Admiral for the Black Sea's report of December 5, noting a concern to evacuate valuable material; and from the German navy at Nikolaev on evacuation proposals, in December; from Special Communications Unit (SCU) Cairo for Gore-Browne: that the 15th Panzer Division is using its last reserves to block Allied pressure; and a 94th Division report, for December 6; on South Europe: on the naval situation in Italian ports on the Adriatic, as of December 5-6; a 15th Panzer Grenadier Division report, for December 6; and the 14th Panzer Corps reports an Allied attack, on December 7.
