Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: BONIFACE summaries for the Deputy Prime Minister (PM), Brigadier Jacob and Mr Loxley; on Southern Europe: that the German Navy in the Black Sea urgently requires the transfer of 2 heavy cargo ships from the Aegean to replace Bulgarian ships that have been sunk or withdrawn from Black Sea supply duties, on November 23; that 3 Italian Riviera ports are to report on their status and their preparation for demolition and blocking if vacated, on November 23; a German Air Force (GAF) South-east Command report for November 25, including German sigint on Allied air operations, and Axis troops that are encircled south of Zagreb in Croatia being supplied from the air by the GAF; and a GAF South-east Command end of day report for November 25 including sortie totals and details of operations; and on the EUREKA summit meeting in Cairo from November 27: on the communications service to Cairo for the conference.
