Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: a SUNSET report from Brigadier Jacob for the Prime Minister (PM); a SUNSET report for the Deputy PM; a SUNSET report for Mr Loxley; that the 16th Panzer Division is leaving Italy for the Russia Front, on November 15; on South-east Europe: the German Air Force (GAF) Command for the South-east's operations report for November 17 included the bombing of Samos; and damage was reported as the result of Allied raids on Kalamaki and Eleusis on November 17; and on the Russian Front: a situation report, for November 15. This file also includes correspondence involving Churchill, Eisenhower and the Admiralty: on the location of a conference in either Malta or Cairo, on November 18 and 19; and four copies of SUNSET reports of November 18 for Special Communications Unit (SCU) Malta and one for Hut 3.
