Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: a BONIFACE report from Brigadier Jacob for the Prime Minister (PM); a BONIFACE report for Mr Loxley; a BONIFACE report for the Deputy PM; a SUNSET intelligence report for November 17; on South-east Europe: that General Mueller, commander of the Leros operation, is proceeding to Leros town on November 16; that the Admiral for the Aegean was informed late on November 16 that Leros had capitulated; that the Admiral for the Aegean orders torpedo boats for troop transports, on November 16; and of 30 radio-controlled glider bombs being transferred from Salonica to Athens, on November 13; on the Russian Front: of the SS Adolph Hitler and 1st Panzer Divisions being reported for the first time in Russia, on November 16; and on Southern Europe: that the 14th Panzer Corps expected no Allied ground operations if the rain continued, on November 15.
