Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: a BONIFACE report from Brigadier Jacob for the Prime Minister (PM); a BONIFACE report for Mr Loxley; on South-east Europe: the Leros situation report for November 14 indicated that Alinda Bay would soon be in German hands; that flak and anti-tank reinforcements are leaving Kos for Leros on November 14; and of an Allied raid on Sofia, on November 14; on Southern Europe: that the 14th Corps expected an Allied attack in the Monte Camino area, on November 14; and of a shortage of tank spare parts in depots in both northern and central Italy, on November 12.
