A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on South-east Europe: that an Allied raid on Rhodes leaves the airfield unserviceable, on November 11; and a situation report for November 10 stating the mopping up of the Sibernik-Split area has been completed; on Southern Europe: a 10th Army situation report including damage being caused to railways and a tank return for November 6; of damage caused to railways in Italy, on November 10; the Commander in Chief (C-in-C) South's day report for November 5 including the ration strength for men and horses; and a German Air Force (GAF) Signals Unit in Italy mentions a shortage of flak personnel, on November 10; on Western Europe: of a shortage of wireless mechanics, on November 4; on the Russian Front: a ground situation report for Crimea states that there were over 2500 German casualties on the Perekop Front between November 1 and 7, and noting an increase of partisan sabotage activities in the past few days; and on Germany: on the setting up of the 1st Parachute Army, on November 11.
