This file includes the following reports on Southern Europe: a battle report from the 14th Corps, for November 8; a battle report from the 3rd Panzer Grenadier Division, including heavy German losses, on November 8; and a casualty return for September 8 to October 15; on South-east Europe: that the landing formation for the attack on Leros is to move one stage nearer its objective, on November 8; that heavy weapons cannot accompany the first wave of attack on Leros owing to a lack of Siebel ferries, on November 7; that a German Air Force (GAF) fighter unit is transferring from Albania to south-east Greece, on November 6; and that E-boats of the 3rd E-flotilla are leaving the Adriatic for the Aegean, on November 8; and on the Russian Front: of Dnieper traffic to Kherson being suspended, with the provision of craft for supplying Crimea being considered a matter of the utmost urgency, on November 6.
