This file includes the following reports on South-east Europe: of several German vessels having dropped out that were destined for the Leros operation, on November 7; and of an intended operation by the 2nd Panzer Army for the capture of the islands Peljesac and Korcula between November 7 and 10; on Southern Europe: that the 16th Panzer Division expects an Allied attack on November 8, with the 15th Panzer Division counter-attacking; that the 26th Panzer Division took over the left wing of the 3rd Panzer Grenadier Division on November 7; a battle report from the 76th Corps, for November 7; and the Director of Transport in Italy reports that the removal of goods from Italy is at a standstill owing to the destruction of railway lines, on November 6; on the Russian Front: six reports concerned with the situation in southern Russia, covering November 4 to 7; and that the 4th Air Fleet requests cargo space for sending supplies of aviation fuel and ammunition to the Crimea, on November 4.
