This file includes the following reports on South-east Europe: of German Air Force (GAF) aircraft being unserviceable for considerable lengths of time due to the strained spares situation, on November 1; on South Europe: of a German anti-submarine vessel being sunk on its passage from Civita Vecchia; Naval Headlines; from the Turkish minister in Lisbon, relaying Salazar's views on the Soviet problem, on October 30; and from the German Legation in Lisbon, giving U.S. views on the Moscow Conference, on October 27.
